CARE

When you walk into a church, it is comforting to see an outstretched hand and a smiling face. One of the goals of Expressway to Heaven Church of Christ is to create an open atmosphere where ALL are welcome to join in worship and fellowship. The goal of the Care Ministry Team is that every person entering the church is greeted and that visitors are quickly made to feel at home.

Care at SUCh is shown through:

Greeters who welcome, inform and connect newcomers during the church services;

Ushers who distribute bulletins, seat guests, collect offerings, and serve communion;

Help Desk which welcomes guests, answers questions, makes follow-up contacts.

Food Service Volunteers who prepare food for fellowship meals, special luncheons, dinners, picnics and other church related functions as well as preparing coffee and snacks each Sunday.

Cleaning is for those that volunteered to clean and arrange the church and its surrounding

Being a part of this team would mean participating in the area to which you feel led and in which you are gifted. If you have the gift of hospitality, love meeting people, and are not afraid of meeting someone new, you will want to consider being a part of the Hospitality Ministry Team.
